December Coworker Spotlight - Gary Crain, Cincinnati Burg

Gary Crain first heard about Lithko through a family member who worked for the Cincinnati BURG.  Gary’s cousin wanted him to join the Lithko team, so he shared how much he enjoyed working for Lithko as well as the opportunity that Lithko presents for career growth.  13 years ago, Gary contacted Mark Bella and joined the Lithko Cincinnati team as a carpenter with Jeff Gilliam and Josh Hilderbrand on a tilt-up project in Hebron, KY. Since then, Gary has moved through the ranks and is now an Operations Lead, running multiple projects.

Gary is an extremely hard worker who takes great pride in his work. Gary's success can be contributed to his projects and their safe, productive, and high quality outcomes, something his crews and customers appreciate.

When asked why he thinks he has found great success at Lithko, Gary states "In my opinion Lithko is a very well-organized company with defined expectations for each role. If you understand your role, no matter the size, you will be recognized and eventually have the opportunity to move up within the company if you choose."

His most memorable job has been SilverHawk in Harrison, OH. This fast-paced job required a lot of Lithko manpower and very close coordination with Turner Construction and the numerous other trades onsite to build successfully.

Current Jobs:

  • St. Elizabeth Addition: The main structure is a 5-story hospital building with a 3-story overbuild on an existing 5-story structure.
  • West Chester 3&4: 2 tilt-up buildings that are adjacent and are approximately 280,000 square feet each.
  • TQL Building 2: A 3-story office building approximately 138,000 square feet.
  • GE Tenant: An existing warehouse with foundations, elevator, ramp, and mezzanine slab.

Join us in congratulating Gary!
