Worker Wednesday- Dylan Fountain

What do enjoy about working at Lithko?

The thing I enjoy most about my job is that every day brings a new challenge or a situation that I have yet to encounter.  The feeling of accomplishment that is derived from accomplishing my tasks continually drives me forward.

What were your responsibilities when you first started with Lithko? What are your responsibilities now?

When I started working for Lithko in June of 2018, I was a laborer.  I spent most of my day in footings, cleaning pier caps, and digging.  I always show my drive and dedication to do the best in all phases of work.  I was given an opportunity to start working with the field engineers at OU Bed Tower.  Now, I am the lead field engineer on an 8-level hospital.

What work challenges excite you?

I recently took a trip to Colorado for the Post Tension Institute training.  Great instructor.  I highly recommend taking the class if given the opportunity.  The class gives you an understanding of how post tension works and how to read the post tension drawings.  In the year and a half that I have worked with Lithko, I have learned there is no goal too high or too far to reach.

What is your career vision?

Moving forward, I plan on doing the best in any position I find myself in, so that I can reach my goal of becoming a project lead.  I would also like to say thank you to Lithko, and all the people involved with giving me the opportunity to start my career as a Lithko employee.
