Distribution Centers

Lithko Contracting, LLC recently completed the building concrete work for an import distribution center known as Project Beverly in Irvington, AL. Our scope consisted of:

  • 11,500 cubic yards of building foundations
  • 2,504,000 square feet of Ductilcrete Technologies “Heidebed” floor system
  • 89,000 square feet of Ductilcrete Technologies 6” full-depth floor system
  • 355 each 9.25” thick concrete tilt-up wall panels (11,000cubic yards)
  • 8,200 lineal feet of paved ditch ranging from 13’-33’ wide
  • 5.6 miles of 10’ wide by 10” thick dolly strip with double mats of reinforcing and dowel baskets
  • Over 90,000 cubic yards placed on the project from two on-site batch plants

Despite record-breaking rainfall (over 100 inches during construction), the concrete portion of the project was substantially completed in 11 months with over 120,000 craft hours. We were contracted by the Ryan Companies whose exemplary project management and coordination ensured a successful and timely completion.
