346 luxurious apartments along with 62,000 square feet of retail will be added to the thriving area of Charlotte, called South End. Our scope includes foundations, walls, slab on grade, paving, high shore framed deck.
The Doka Staxo System will be utilized for 100,000 square feet of elevated deck with a shoring height of 24’-27’. We will build the L-shaped building in a sequence accommodating the specific move-in dates for future residents. Following the elevated deck, the framing and underground activity will be built simultaneously to support this plan.
South Blvd. is one of the busiest streets in Charlotte. We worked with the customer on a logistics strategy that includes one way turns in and out of the site to avoid interfering with existing traffic patterns or patrons nearby. With the combination of winter weather and working with unexpected underground utilities, we have used our daily planning processes to re-sequence the work and mitigate any loss time.
