Coworker Spotlight: Herberto

Started as a rodbuster. Today he’s leading one of the most complex projects in Columbus, Ohio.
Heriberto’s story is a great example of what can happen when people are given opportunities and ownership.
After starting in the field, leaving in 2017, and returning in 2021 for the steady pipeline of large-scale work, he continued taking on bigger challenges, from leading a water treatment plant project to learning on the Ohio Health Women’s Pavilion Tower & Garage under the mentorship of Ash, who pushed him to own scheduling, planning, and eventually entire projects.
Today, Heriberto is leading a major student housing on 9th and High near the Ohio State University campus.
It’s that even as a Project Lead, he’s still willing to jump in and help wherever the team needs it. That’s the kind of leadership that earns trust.
At Lithko, careers grow when people are willing to take ownership and Heriberto is a great example of that.
