What do you enjoy about working at Lithko? What motivates you to wake up and go to work?
I enjoy the people I work with and comradery. My kids motivate me to get up and go to work each day.
What responsibilities did you have when you first started with Lithko? What are your responsibilities now?
I started out as a finisher and progressed into a backup man for place finish crew task lead. I am now driving the place finish truck as a place finish foreman.
What does a typical work day look like to you?
A typical day of work for me starts with me walking the jobsite in the mornings. I figure out what tools and equipment we will need for the day, get equipment filled with gas and ready for use. I fill out my DPP. I do a morning huddle with the crew each morning to go over hazards and things to be aware of on site. Then we start pouring, placing and finishing the concrete and I manage my crew.
What work challenges excite you?
I like that It’s something different every day. Every job is different and there are different variables that pop up making each task unique. Each
project gives you the opportunity to learn something new.
What has been your favorite project?
INX Addition has probably been my favorite project. It is a shake floor project which has been pretty neat and I have learned a lot on the project.
What’s something most people don’t know about you?
I like to hunt and fish.
