Worker Wednesday: Roger “Brad” Sandfort

What do you enjoy about working at Lithko? What motivates you to wake up and go to work?

I learn something new every day! I am motivated to provide for my family.

What responsibilities did you have when you first started with Lithko? What are your responsibilities now?

When I first started, I was brand new to construction and knew almost nothing. I now run a team as a developing Crew Task Lead and am responsible for my own work phase. The timeline from then until now has been about 22 months.

What work challenges excite you?

Safety! I am passionate and excited to be part of continuously improving the safety culture at Lithko.

What has been your favorite project?

Plaza II Hotels, which is my current project.  Previously, I had done all tilt-up work, and this project provides experience with so many different types of work.

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

I had a full ride track scholarship for pole vault to the Missouri Valley College.

Thank you for being an important part of our Kansas City BURG! We’re excited to see what you do next!
