Our Dallas Burg has recently finished their scope of work on a 300,000 square foot 5 story post tension structure with a 300,000 square foot parking garage near downtown Dallas.  The project included deep foundations, grade beams, columns, loading dock, elevator pits, topping slabs, and pan stairs.

Lithko’s onsite team decided to use a flying truss form system to support the elevated cast in place decks which were utilized in the garage and converted in the office structure.  Additionally, the team utilized an aluminum shoring system to form over 60,000 square feet of elevated deck which ranged from 30 feet to over 50 feet tall.

The schedule required the building to be topped out in 33 weeks.  During construction, the project experienced over a month of rain delays during an unusually wet winter and spring in North Texas.  While there were 27 acknowledged rain days for this project the team was able to overcome these delays and finish the project only 10 days past the original end date and nearly two weeks early based on our customer’s schedule.
