This mixed-use student housing development featured a complex high-bay cast-in-place podium structure wrapped around a precast parking garage, requiring advanced coordination between structural systems, elevated decks, beams, and soffit conditions.

Precise layout control, sequencing, and elevation management were critical to aligning the cast-in-place concrete podium with the precast garage components. When slab-on-grade settlement issues emerged due to unstable soils and water erosion, Lithko proactively developed a cost-effective resequencing and recovery plan that maintained project momentum and minimized schedule impacts.

Through close collaboration and strategic problem-solving, the team successfully delivered this challenging mixed-use podium and parking structure project while maintaining productivity, safety, and quality.
