Blackstone HQ

This industrial construction project featured a unique combination of tilt-up panels, cast-in-place walls, slab-on-grade, slab-on-metal deck, and sloped concrete systems, along with specialized architectural elements. A standout feature was the use of board-formed insulated concrete panels, delivering a distinctive wood-grain aesthetic, along with radius concrete walls at the main entry for integrated signage and branding. 

The project also included indoor and outdoor amphitheaters and commercial kitchen spaces, showcasing a rare hybrid tilt-up and structural concrete design for both industrial and office environments. 

To ensure quality, extensive mockups of architectural concrete panels were developed and approved prior to construction. Additional quality control measures were required to source and prepare rough-cut lumber for the board-formed finish, achieving the desired appearance. 

The project met LEED construction standards, incorporating sustainable practices such as concrete washout management and material tracking. Rigorous QA/QC processes ensured high-quality finishes across all architectural concrete elements.
