The Freshpet manufacturing facility required specialized industrial concrete construction, including high-tolerance sloped slabs, precision-formed curved concrete curbs, and freezer slab systems designed to support food production and sanitary operations. More than 1,300 linear feet of curved curbs and individually sloped drainage bays demanded exceptional layout accuracy and craftsmanship.

Working within an active manufacturing facility, Lithko implemented a checkerboard slab placement strategy, custom formwork, and carefully sequenced interior concrete pours to achieve precise drainage, support insulated wall systems, and minimize operational disruptions. Through detailed planning and quality control, the team delivered a high-performance food manufacturing concrete facility that met Freshpet’s stringent operational and cleanliness standards.
