Lithko completed the industrial concrete construction of a five-building complex at Jaindl-Watson Industrial Park in Northampton, PA—one of the Northeast’s premier distribution and logistics hubs. The project required over 89,000 cubic yards of concrete, supported by an on-site batch plant to ensure quality, efficiency, and schedule reliability.
The facility featured 0.5% sloped slab-on-grade construction with dowel basket control joints and a 4,000 PSI fiber-reinforced concrete mix, enhancing durability under heavy industrial traffic. The team executed multi-building construction concurrently, maintaining productivity and schedule performance.
Despite restricted crane access, Lithko utilized a hydraulic crane for tilt-wall panel erection, and implemented cold weather concrete practices to overcome extended weather challenges and ensure consistent structural performance.
