Lithko’s Charleston BURG delivered industrial concrete construction for a temperature-controlled logistics facility for Lineage Logistics, including foundations, stem walls, freezer slabs, and slab-on-metal deck systems.

To meet an aggressive schedule, the team placed a 105,000-square-foot super-flat freezer slab in three large pours while maintaining strict floor tolerances. Custom lifting bars were developed to improve laser screed operation over insulated reinforced slabs, reducing grinding and saving costs.

Through proactive problem-solving and cross-BURG collaboration, Lithko overcame tight site constraints and complex freezer slab requirements to successfully support this high-performance cold storage warehouse construction project.
