Pilot Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant

This wastewater treatment facility construction project involved complex industrial concrete construction within an active plant environment, including six new structures such as SBR basins, surge tanks, chemical storage buildings, and chlorine contact systems.

Key features included a 30-inch-thick mat foundation, containment walls up to 25 feet tall, large-radius cast-in-place walls, and over 8,000 linear feet of PVC waterstop systems. The project required advanced formwork, high-performance concrete mixes, shrinkage-reducing admixtures, and strict curing protocols to meet watertightness and durability requirements.

Through close coordination with the GC and engineer, Lithko successfully delivered this highly technical water infrastructure and industrial concrete project while maintaining operations at the active treatment facility.
