This distribution center construction project featured a complex Vapor Intrusion Mitigation System (VIMS) beneath all slab-on-grade areas, requiring pumped concrete placements, specialized subbase coordination, and enhanced sequencing to protect the environmental barrier system.

The facility included approximately 260,000 square feet of tilt-up concrete panels, with nearly 240,000 square feet incorporating multi-color thin brick architectural finishes using advanced formliner systems. Lithko also provided value-engineered sequencing solutions that improved slab performance, accelerated construction, and reduced costs on this technically demanding tilt-up warehouse and industrial concrete project.

Despite site delays, weather impacts, and challenging soil conditions, the team maintained progress through proactive coordination, expanded sitework responsibilities, and detailed QA/QC oversight for architectural concrete, slab placement, and VIMS integration.
