The Domain at City Center

The Domain at City Center is the second luxury apartment complex built in the Lenexa area. These luxury apartments have 203 one and two-bedroom units, a parking garage, and indoor/outdoor amenities.

Lithko’s scope included drilled piers, foundations, a retaining wall, post tension slab on grade and a cast in place parking garage. With the foundations starting in the month of November, our project team had to carefully plan for winter conditions. We used cold weather best practices to ensure our work was not affected and our teams worked safe during the inclement weather. A great deal of the work phases were performed congruently. We had to be very detailed and accurate with the coordination and planning of our labor, equipment and materials. Despite the winter conditions and coordination challenges, we were able to create and execute a schedule that exceeded our customer’s expectations and the project was awarded the “Excellence in Concrete” award by Concrete Promotional Group in November 2015.
