Colorado State University Chemistry Building

Universities

The new chemistry building at Colorado State University is the first structural building completed by the Denver BURG. The opportunity to partner with a new general contractor, Haselden Construction, helped us break into the Colorado market. Our scope included foundations, columns, structural deck, and elevator cores.

The project had several aspects unique to a university chemistry building. The large amount of plumbing and electrical work in the building required close coordination with other trades on site. The quality of the concrete mix was also important due the architectural, exposed finish in many areas.

Utilizing our DPP, we were able to successfully execute our daily plan and our new team worked together to complete the work in six months.
