Executive Park Logistics Center Buildings 1 and 2

After the completion of the successful project, Schier Products with Miller Stauch, Lithko’s Kansas City BURG was awarded two buildings for the Executive Park Logistics Center. Our scope on the two buildings is comprised of foundations, tilt up panels, and dock paving.

Staying in front of the planning is essential on this job due to lumber/materials shortages and the fast-paced project schedule. We are constructing both buildings at different times, but it is critical we erect the panels successively to beat the winter weather.

Originally, the slabs were unreinforced, but are now altered to reinforced, adding to the complexity of the fast-paced schedule. The subgrade is unable to support the load of concrete trucks, so we increased the number of pours to utilize pumps instead.

We are currently placing the slabs and should wrap-up with the panels by mid-December. The success of this project could potentially lead to new buildings on the same campus.
