Logistics Park 75 Buildings 3A & 3B

The two new spec industrial buildings totaling 776,820 square feet, are within the 55-acre Logistics Park 75 in Walton, KY. Lithko’s scope includes slab on grade and 88,442 square feet of tilt-up panels (Building A- 88 panels, Building B- 128 panels), with an average panel size of 24 x 45 feet. Additionally, we have 16,000 square feet sidewalks, and paving for both buildings. The paving includes 45,000 square feet of dual sloping for Building A and 100,000 square feet of dual sloping for Building B.

For Building A, our team stayed 1 week ahead of schedule even with the heavy spring rain and the Coronavirus impact. This involved modifying the slab sequence to make irregular orientations to accommodate plumbing issues. We have been able to complete approximately 15-20 panels per day.  Furthermore, our team worked the weekends to make up for lost rain days incurred.

We set up this project for success by up front collaboration with our customer. Our Field Leads successfully planned and executed each of their phases of work based on the overall agreed upon project plan and schedule. By setting this precedent, our customer continued to move the job forward despite the weather and Coronavirus impact.
