Riverside Crossing Park
Riverside Crossing Park will consist of two parks that will connect Historic Dublin and the Bridge Street District, which is split by the Scioto River. Lithko’s Columbus BURG is working on the east side of the river, which includes cast in place walls, cast in place architectural benches, retaining walls, patios, and a vault that will house the mechanical and water feature for the walls.
This job is exciting and challenging to build. Due to the intricacies of the project, the entire job was drawn, uploaded into CAD, and managed by multiple line and grade coworkers to ensure quality control. Coordination with other trades is critical due to built-in pluming, water features, and a variety of façade components that will be installed after our work is complete.
Furthermore, this is a public works project with a new in-use pedestrian walking bridge that crosses over the jobsite. Due to a-typical pedestrian traffic around the jobsite, heighted safety precautions must be closely coordinated throughout the area. The project is anticipated to be complete in 2021.
