St. Vincent Anderson Surgery Expansion

This addition to the St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital in central Indiana was a 38,000-square-foot expansion, combining two existing surgery areas into one state‐of‐the‐art surgery center with the latest technology and equipment.

Challenges for the project team included an extremely restrictive site and the relocation of a 60-inch combination sewer, 20 feet below grade, within the footprint of the expansion. Working with Brasfield & Gorrie on an aggressive schedule through the winter, Lithko installed a tunnel connecting the two buildings and a basement on a deep foundation system.
